From other folks. Maybe that’s the best way to go. Less likely to get cheated, I reckon.
I heard about a place called Chrono24, they sell used watches. Lots of ’em, all kinds. Maybe you can find a Speedmaster there, if you’re lookin’ for one. But be careful, ya hear? Don’t get swindled. Make sure it’s a good one, if you’re gonna spend all that money.
Is It Worth It? Well, that’s for you to decide. Me, I don’t see the point of spendin’ all that money on a watch. But some folks, they like fancy things. They like to show off, I guess. So, if you got the money and you like fancy things, then maybe it’s worth it. But if you’re like me, and you just need somethin’ to tell ya the time, well, there’s cheaper watches out there. Just as good, in my opinion.
Authentic and Used Omega Speedmasters: They say you can buy used ones that are real, not copies. They call ‘em “authentic.” Fancy word for real, I guess. And if you buy used, it’s cheaper. So that’s good. But you gotta be careful, make sure it ain’t broke or nothin’. And make sure it’s a real one, not one of them copies. They say the real ones are tested, to make sure they keep good time. Plus or minus one second a day, they say. That’s pretty good, I guess. Better than my old clock, that’s for sure.
